No. 1 Gaoler’s Mews offers an intimate, unparalleled dining experience from beginning to end. Each No. 1 Gaoler’s Mews dining event is hosted by Chef & Owner Lee Cooper, along with a special guest chef to create a thoughtful & unique menu for each dinner. Together they prepare a distinct multi-course menu with wines paired to each course by Wine Director, Kristi Linneboe. The dinner series showcases elevated French meets West Coast cuisine, with each chef offering their own unique expertise.

TICKETS & DATES

No. 1 Gaoler’s Mews launched its first exclusive dinner in May 2017 and continues to evolve with each event. Tickets for No. 1 Gaoler’s Mews are released in the month prior to the dinner through our online ticket auction. Tickets are sold in pairs with all proceeds benefiting the BC Hospitality Foundation

LocATION

Situated in the heart of Vancouver’s historic Gastown neighbourhood, No. 1 Gaoler’s Mews is housed within a quaint, cobblestone courtyard directly behind L’Abattoir Restaurant. Gaoler’s Mews was the site of the city’s first courthouse and jail before it burned down in Vancouver’s great fire of 1886.
